WHITE WATER RAFTING ON THE KAWARAU RIVER

The Kawarau Gorge is steeped in history and scenic highlights. The unique nature of the canyon allows cliff jumping or even a swim in the smaller rapids. The grand finale is the 400 metre Chinese Dog Leg rapid - adrenaline inducing and heart pumping - providing one of the biggest white water rides in NZ.

DURATION: 4 - 5 hours

GRADE: 3 - 4 Difficulty varies depending on river levels.

DEPARTURE: From the Intouch Information Centre corner of Camp & Shotover Streets, or pick-ups can be arranged from certain accommodation centres.

WHAT YOU NEED: Swimsuit and towel.

WHAT IS SUPPLIED: All transport including accommodation pick-ups and drop offs.
7mm wetsuits, wetsuit Jackets, booties, spray jackets, helmets, paddles and life jackets

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Must be notified one hour prior to trip departure, otherwise no refund will be given
• Trips may be cancelled due to river or weather conditions
